1.1 BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
in ancient years more especially personnel appraisal system has continued to find a means by which the manual method of recording or processing personnel system can be converted to computer processing method. Concept of computerized system had been instruments for the achieve of individual and groups goal or objective.
However, computerization is beset with many problems which affect its level of operation, it is based on the fact that authors in system analysis information media labour themselves to write about computerization personnel system and taking in consideration in order to bringing a successful input or output of the information system into existence, how to increase efficiency and effectiveness of result and how to eliminate many problems associated with the manual method of data processing.
Therefore, without doubt it can be prored boldly that computerized information system relif the personnel managers of all those time consuming routine task which otherwise weigh the department down while at the same time realizing the true productive role of personnel in modern day business industries etc.
The research work is carried out to computerize the personnel appraisal information system. The expected computerized system arrived at in this work aim at the problem, needs requirements and specification. Therefore there work is done as to study in whole what are the causes of all these problems and in particular to develop a personnel appraisal system in the case study.

ABSTRACT

Soil Erosion is an endemic problem in different part of the world especially places where there is marks of seasonal rainfall. This overland flow resulting from rain splash erosion and through flow of surface, flow appear to be too extremes of a continuous sequence and is a possible condition for gully development. In order to prevent this gully development a body must or has been established to study and check the erosion development in so many areas. As this project tends to focus on the erosion control system in Enugu using ministry of works as our case study. Our limit does not extend more than Enugu, Ministry of works in the body responsible for the control of erosion in Enugu state.

1.0 INTRODUCTION
This project is specifically on erosion control information system
1.1 BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
The soil particles must be detects from the parent soil mass, Agriculture which occupy over two third of the eastern region area and land mass is seriously threatened by accelerates soil erosion which is systematically reducing the land area available for agriculture. Causes, effects and control measures are always way been the confusing part of resolving the erosion problem in the eastern region. Erosion is of different forms the common one along our roads includes, “Gully erosion”
Gully erosion occurs in areas of strong relief or loose sandy soils. It creates deep gorges or gullies which dissect the land surface and hind movement and the cultivation of land. It is an advanced stage of rill erosion where surface channels has been eroded to the point where they cannot be smoothed over by normal tillage operations. Gully erosion is simply defined as the run off concentration in channels greater than rills large channels.
Often, gullies can be prevented if good land conservation measures are practiced on the farm.
The U.S department of Agriculture’s Hand book #667 (AGHBK 667) in the past used “design method for Grass – lined open channel” ECMDS. The channel protection module utilizes calculations from federal highway Administration’s Hydrallic Engineering circular #15 (HEC 15) Tractive force procedure”. The ECMDS which stands for Erosion control material design software, provided computer – assisted selection of material for slop erosion protection and channel source resistance. Without this checks on these types of erosion or a computer-assisted selection material for channel source resistance. The result of the occurrence and expansion of gullies in our roads has posed the following consequences.
(1) The damage of cultivated lands: Mainly farmers relying on proceed from sale of farm products can not achieve and produce agricultural products from damaged lands and the damages the gully is causing on our roads can not be over emphasized. It is in this quest for preventions and erosion control system, that the term “A computerized erosion information stem” become paramount. The system utilizers design procedures from the erosion control Technology council to correct failure. Criteria bases on lining degradation and soil loss.
(2) Accounts for differing vegetation growth habits and densities.
(3) Accounts for differing soil ero dibility factors.
(4) Build a web-base erosion control information system

STATEMENT OF PROBLEM
The existing system in the ministry of works has been proven to be the major hindrance to effective erosion control. From a business and management perspective, information system are far more than just import-process-output machines operating in a vaccum. The problem of the existing system as observed was lack of computerized processing, in the area of keeping record. Record keeping in the ministry is based on manual systems. It was quite alarming that at this very stage of it revolution I couldn’t observe any computer system readily available to support their services. The knowledge

ABSTRACT

The opinion pool information system is a web based service owned, management and maintained by the companies within the office and has been in use for over the years. The main purpose of the service is to provide the general public (hereafter referred to as citizens) a facility to log complaints, make a suggestion and/or request information (hereafter referred to as incidents) and tank the processing status of same. These incidents vary significantly in type and urgency and requires the attention of officials hereafter referred to as users. Within one or more public sector entities. The opinion pool information system has a human resources system with a single purpose of maintaining sensitive information that is requires for a few key employees outside of HR. the opinion poll information system is a major change to the way things are currently done. Using the opinion poll information system must be a company directive otherwise it will never be fully implemented.

1.0 INTRODUCTION
Opinion pool is a crucial element of business success. Every time you have contact with your customers you have an opportunity to improve your reputation with them and increase the likelihood of further sales.
From your telephone manner to the efficiency of your order-fulfillment systems, almost every aspect of your business affects the way your customers view your business. There are also programmes you can put in place to increase your levels of pinion poll.
This guide outlines what opinion pool involves. It explains how you can use customers contact; feedback and loyalty schemes to retain existing customers, increase your sales to them and even win new customers. It also covers how to prepare for receiving a customer complaint.
Opinion poll involves putting system in place to maximize your customers satisfaction with your business. It should be a prime consideration for every business – your sales and profitability depends on keeping your customers happy.
Opinion poll is more directly important in some roles than others. For receptionists, sales staff and other employees in customer-feeling roles, opinion poll should be a core element of their job description and training, and a core criterion when you’re recruiting.
But don’t neglect the important of opinion poll in other areas of your business. For instance, your warehousing and dispatch departments may have minimal contact with your customers but their performance when fulfilling orders has a major impact on customers’ satisfaction with your business.
A huge range of factors can contribute to customer satisfaction, but your customers – both consumer and other business – are likely to take into account:
• How well your product or service matches customers needs.
• The value of money you offer
• Your efficiency and reliability in fulfilling orders.
• The professionalism, friendliness and expertise of your employees.
• How well you keep your customers informed.
• The after-sales service you provided.

1.1 STATEMENT OF PROBLEM
Owing to:-
(i) The difficulties people face in transferring information data.
(ii) Unwillingness attitude of some PHCN staff when checking their customers’ information.
(iii) Fragile nature of customers information
(iv) Difficulties people encounter when checking their customers information
(v) Time wasted in manual processing of customers information

1.0 BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Historical background of N.Y.S.C Nigeria youth service corps started in early 1970s by the National youth service decree which has now been replaced by decree 51 of 16th June, 1993.
However, it is against this background that the NYSC directorate headquarter decided that a whole week of orientation period should be devoted to professional orientation for categories of corps members who are to serve as teachers, doctors, lawyers, pharmacists, engineers, agriculturist and even administrators during the corps years.
Also computer system can be used to process retrieve and format al these information timely and accurately.

1.1 INTRODUCTION
Owing to technological development, the quality of making has increase. Nigeria being one of the developing countries has revolutionalized her development system in other to keep abreast with the on going technological tend in civil services.
The use of computer in this system helps to father the service rendered to people especially the corpers. Therefore computer is an electronic machine that is capable of carrying out its calculations or manipulation at a fantastic rate. This is true because computer has aided as an essential tools in the management and operation of organizations processing requirements.
A corper is a person that graduated in a recorgnized university or tertiary institution within the country or outside the country, who is also registered with the government of his or her country after his or her graduation for the services of the country for one year. They are usually given military training before they are posted to their area of primary assignments.
Development or posting is the act of sending people to their various place of duty in accordance with their respective area of specialization. For example those who did education are posted to teach in secondary school in the past but currently all will be posted to serve in schools in al part of the country.

1.2 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
The aim of this project is purposely to computerize the deployment of youth corps members to their various places of assignment.
Because of the large number of students that graduate each year, it is very lactic to tackle the posting manually, lobbing has being the main problem in the recent years.
Normally manual processing of deployment leads to lack of appropriate figures, delay and time consuming but computer can handle the posting and reporting of

ABSTRACT

Computer are known for their wide range of uses especially in scientific and mathematical field. However, title or no thought has been given to designing a complete and true intelligence test on a computer system in our immediate environment. Although in advanced countries where computerized games have been developed computers have proved that they constitute ways of indirectly testing intelligence

This system is designed in order to implement and intelligence test on a computer system, it tries as much as possible to incorporate the important aspect of intelligence on a wide scale. It is designed to test intelligence of secondary school learners using the Jamb matriculation Examination (JME) as standardized sample and as such the psychological implication of such a design is very important.

The design of the system is quite and easily understood. It’s flexibility makes it amendable for future changes and amendment to either incorporate other aspects of intelligence or to be designed for any other school age or class.

The question of the intelligence test are programmed and visually displayed in the system’s screen in an interaction form. The pupil answer the question on the computer system. the results obtained from the test give an estimation on user’s (pupil) intelligence quotient (I.Q). this is equally displayed and tells the pupil in the what category he/she falls within. The result of the test is also displayed at the end of the test which goes a long way lessen the fear of the pupil that they were marked down in the examination.

The JME coordinators were really finding it very hard based on the type of processing procedures that they are using. The manual process entails a lot of complex mistake, Errors, even missing of scripts. Many at times someone that sat for the Examination si been given the result of science subject while he / she sit for arts or management subject.

There have been a situation whereby someone that did not sit for the Examination after processing the forms, got sick and was admitted. When JME result for that year came out, they sent a result for the exam he did not sit for.

It takes time to process the results through the manual process. If the new system is implement, there will efficient, no complex mistakes, No errors and also the time factors will be shortened compared to the present system of JME processing strategy.

1.0     INTRODUCTION

In the past, ability test were used in admitting pupil into the university level, for instance, the scholastic aptitude test, which measures both aptitude and achievement, (the aptitude test measures accomplished skills and indicate what a person can do at present, while the achievement test predicts what a person can accomplished with training.)

But the essential requirement for any test include reliability, validity and uniform testing procedures. The test which measures intelligence ability are often called “ intelligence test” intelligence test are usually designed to access the nature and course of mental development, intellectual and non-intellectual personality differences that might be attributed to hereditary among person at different occupational level and among their children. Intellectual and other traits of a typical group such as the mentally gifted, the mentally retarded, the neurotic and the psychotic.

The topic design and implementation of On-line JME Examination processing system (OLJMEPS) is geared towards impacting intelligence on a computer. Whereby Jamb matriculation Examination will be conducted and taken on the computer system itself and the result displayed to user (pupil) immediately after the examination or once it is compiled sequentially.

One may ask this question. Is this realistic? On the face value it might be seen impossible, but with the advent of computer games, computers have proved that they constitute ways of indirectly testing intelligence.

1.1     STATEMENT OF PROBLEM.

In the Administration of the JAMB Matriculation Examination (JME), the exam comes as objective and the answer expected to be shaded on the same question paper and marked by the examiners. The scoring and grading of results and posting of pupils to various higher institutions subsequently has been be divided by various human related factors such as favoritism, graft, bribery and corruption as well as late posting owing to volume of work fatigue and negligence of duty.

Natural human errors also occur usually
